, is looking for an enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Assistant Team Lead in the Production/Assembly department.
This person will work about half the time as a production line associate, and the other half of the time will serve as back up to the Team Lead to either cover for absences or fill in during peak production times.

Responsibilities:
As Production Associate, responsibilities include:
Fabricating and assembling company products to customer specification, ensuring the products meeting company standards.
Using hand tools or small machinery, drills, taps, reams, bolts, screws, or rivets to process and assemble product.
Testing operation of completed product.
Inspecting product to ensure conformance to specifications.
Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
with or without assistance.
This role also backs up the Production Team Lead to cover for absences, and moves into the Production Team Lead role during peak production times.
As the lead, this role coordinates the daily activities of the production line, provides training, and keeps the team on task.
As Assistant Team Lead, responsibilities include:
Coordinating and assigning the activities of the production team, tracking hours and production data.
Keeping the team focused and on task.
Training associates to assemble products to specifications.
Problem solving production concerns, and appropriately escalating employee concerns to management.

Requires ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds, and occasionally 100 lbs.

Requires ability to stand, bend, twist, crouch, kneel, reach, and grip for 8-10 hour shifts.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years of relevant experience or combination of education and experience is preferred.
Ability to effectively and professionally communicate verbally and in writing.
Ability to accurately apply mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to operate a forklift and obtain a valid forklift certification.
