Maintenance Lead
Our client, a leading snack foods manufactuer, is seeking a Maintenance Lead to join their team. As a Maintenance Lead, you will be part of the Maintenance Deptartment and will have a small crew reporting to you. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and maintenance experience working in manufacturing and industrial environments, experience overseeing other mainenance workers, and will be comfortable working in a colder environment. $30-35/hr What's the Job? Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and maintain all equipment Lead continuous improvement skills and is approachable Help lead 5S projects to standardize maintenance practices and processes Assist in training employees on operation of equipment Provide continual support to production, bakery, assembly packaging and warehouse What's Needed? Must be knowledgeable of all HACCP, GMP's, OSHA, and SOP requirements Must always work in a safe manner and use LOTO While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hand(s) or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop or crouch. The employee will regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employees may occasionally be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme heat and vibration.
