This role entails tracking shipments to ensure they are delivered safely to the clients in a timely manner.
In addition, the LOGISTICS COORDINATOR will collaborates with various departments to communicate and receive scheduling information.
This hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 7:
00 am - 4:
00 pm, or until the last shipment has left the facility.
Based on business need, there will be times when additional hours may be needed to work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Procatively arrange freight and parcel shipments dailyMake parcel shipment labels using FedEx and UPS ship managersMonitor shipments, costs, & timelinesPreparing invoices for completed job ordersTrack shipments and resolve shipment errorsCoordinate with transportation providers to ensure prompt shipmentsKeep detailed records of shipment details, such as weights and dimensionsNegotiate and seek cost-effective and reliable options for freightProcess freight/ parcel claims when issues with delivery ariseCommunicate shipping details to customers and Sales departmentEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma/ GED requiredPrevious customer service experience1-2 years of logistics experience highly preferredKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESEfficient verbal, written, & interpersonal communication skillsStrong time managementQuick critical thinking & problem-solvingTeamworkOrganized & detail orientatedProficient in Microsoft Excel and WordManaging priorities/ deadlinesAbility to work in fast-paced environment meeting tight deadlinesWORK ENVIRONMENTThe work environment is typically fast paced and requires multi-tasking with minimal supervision.
To ensure all duties and tasks are completed by the end of the working day, it is essential to prioritize work that must be done on a timely matter.
This position is in a warehouse setting and requires to be onsite.
