Consult with clients to analyze data and provide solutions to plan, design, develop and implement software applications using Java, Oracle, J2EE, JSP, JavaScript, JCL, COBOL, CICS, Spring and/or SQL. Gather requirements to design, develop, analze and test software appplications and resolve problems of moderate scope. Exercise judgment within defined procedures to support the implementation of software solutions. Provide technical support to client contacts in connection with routine issues. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering or a closely related technical field and 3 years of experience in the planning, design, development and implementation of software solutions. (In lieu of the Bachelor's degree, the employer will accept an additional 2 years of experience as stated.) All stated experience must include using one of the following technologies to gather requirements to design, develop, analyze and test software applications: Java, J2EE or COBOL . Stated or other experience must also include using 1 of the following: Oracle, SQL, JavaScript or CICS. Relocation for short and long term projects to client sites at varying unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. will be required. No Telecommuting.
