Internal Communications Manager
Flexera is looking for a smart and creative Internal Communications Manager who will report into the VP of Corporate communications. This person thinks strategically, executes on the tactics, and has experience building communications programs for a wide variety of internal stakeholders. You are a communications pro articulate, collaborative, innovative and adaptable and are passionate about driving culture, employee alignment and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Drive communications strategy and execution to support company-wide initiatives such as culture-change, IT rollouts, security, recruitment and onboarding
Partner with key stakeholders groups across different functional areas (i.e. Executives, HR, IT, Sales, Engineering Marketing, Organizational Development, Legal, M&A, etc.) and provide support and counsel on messaging and positioning to ensure internal communications are compelling and aligned to company goals and the employees
Work with Senior Leadership Team operations to support executive communications including emails, blogs, videos, All-Hands meetings, departmental meetings, etc. Ensure regular, timely and consistent communications aligned with corporate messaging
Develop, drive and evolve proactive internal communications through a mix of channels and content (i.e. corporate newsletter, blogs, intranet, etc.)
Ensure consistency between internal and external communications
Use industry best practices, metrics, data and insights to help drive internal communications programs and activities as well as identify how well internal communication channels are working and where improvements are needed
Facilitate a communications culture where information flows well across the company, avoiding silos both functional and geographical. Ensure that all employees feel in the know about long and short-term goals as well as current events and departmental updates
Qualifications and Skills

years of communications experience
Stellar written, oral and visual communicator and story teller with experience communicating complex technical topics in simple, engaging way
Self-motivated, highly detailed-oriented, creative thinker and team player
Thrives in a non-bureaucratic, entrepreneurial work environment and enjoys taking initiative to figure out how to get things done
Able to manage and execute multiple projects in a fast-paced, nimble environment, and forge key relationships across the organization to achieve results
Familiar with internal communications best practices, processes and tools used by best-in-class organizations
Proven track record developing an innovative internal communications function and executing creative internal communications plans globally, including for remote employees
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to interact with and influence senior executives and stakeholders with a variety of communication styles and perspectives
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

BA/BS in Communications, marketing, journalism or related discipline
