The Sales Rep role is a critically important sales role at a dynamic and fast growing SaaS company that is helping its customers transform the way they do business through the digitization and automation of the B2B credit process.

The Sales Rep acts autonomously to achieve sales objectives within an entrepreneurial, meritocratic environment that values and rewards performance, fosters meaningful professional growth and offers unique flexibility. Candidates must possess very strong written and oral communication skills with proven ability to think conceptually and pragmatically; capable of communicating with senior executives and becoming a trusted advisor on Bectran Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and articulate how Bectran' core competencies in the B2B Credit Management space can address the customers' credit management needs.

  • Understand the clients' business problems and be able to have an intelligent conversations around how Bectran can help provide a solution.

  • Sell Bectran software and services within the specified territory through multiple channels. The primary focus and objective will be to develop new logo business along with the secondary focus on driving incremental business in the existing accounts.

  • Identify leads via channel partners, cold-calling, networking, events etc.

  • Qualify leads into opportunities; manage the sales cycle and timely follow ups with the internal team and the partner / client personnel

  • Lead the development of project proposals including identifying and leading the pursuit team, writing strong value driven executive summaries, ensuring that the proposal completely and accurately addresses the client needs. Generate high impact proposals.

  • Maintain complete and accurate sales information, i.e. leads, accounts, contacts, activities and opportunities in a tool like Sales Force. Com

  • Achieve target quotas for bookings and earned revenue.

Required skill sets / background:

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in selling complex, business and IT consulting services to medium size and Fortune 1000 companies. Well documented track record of leading teams and achieving annual sales quotas of around $ 500K-5M

  • SaaS selling background preferred

  • Recent experience selling software and consulting services engagements in the $100K + range

  • Qualified applicants must demonstrate a consistent ability to exceed sales targets on a YOY basis

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and leadership skills.

  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with senior executives

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and outstanding presentation skills

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, competitive sales culture

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Excellent time management skills


Min. Education: Undergraduate degree required. MS/MBA degree is an advantage.

References: Minimum 3 references at the C suite, VP or decision maker level

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
